Committee Members

The Ashland Fields Management Group (AFMG) will consist of 5 voting members with a 2 year term. Membership of this group will consist of:

                        Two (2) members from Ashland Youth Sports

                        One (1) member from Ashland Adult Sports

                        Two (2) members from the General Public

Three members will begin with a 1-year term to allow for staggered terms. Nominees for the AFMG would be proposed from registered organizations.  The Board of Selectmen will appoint 1 member from Ashland Youth Sports, 1 member from Ashland Adult Sports and one member from the General Public.  The Ashland School Committee will appoint 1 member from Ashland Youth Sports and 1 member from the General Public.

Members of the Ashland Fields Advisory Committee (AFAC) will attend AFMG meetings and act as an advisory group on all matters before the AFMG.  Membership of the AFAC will consist of:

                        Athletic Director*

                        Director of Buildings and Grounds*

                        Director of Public Works*

                        School Director of Finance and Services*

                        Assistant Town Manager/Finance Director*

                        *or their designee

If the majority of the AFAC disagrees with a vote of the AFMG the matter will be sent to the Board of Selectmen and the Ashland School Committee for resolution.

Additionally, Financial Reports and Minutes will be made available to both School and Town Financial Management
