Field Improvement News

10/2012 - Middle School - Turf Field Area

Thanks to the Eagle Scouts and Vin Hanrahan, the field stands have been re-painted and the snack shack now has a new cement patio. These were huge jobs done by volunteers with professional results. Great Job!!!

9/2012 - Middle School - Baseball Field

Newly installed Fence Mesh and Yellow Fence Top has been completed. We also installed new Field Distance Signage. Thanks to student volunteers and their community service hours to get the job done. Special Thanks to Richard Powell for commanding and organizing the effort.

7/2012 - Middle School Near Tennis Courts

The Letter "A" carved into the Hedges near the Tennis Courts have been refurbished. Thanks to Tyler's Lawn Care for the great craftsmenship.

6/2012 - Middle School - BB & SB Infields

Cleaned both infields and killed all weeds. This will be an ongoing maintenance task going forward. Thanks to Cobblestone Landscaping & Tyler's Landscaping for their attention to this tough job.

5/2012 - Middle School - SB Bullpen

Completely Renovated SB Bullpen installing 2 new plates/rubbers and adding infield mix. Cobblestone Landscape and the Clockers Club teamed to get this accomplished.

5/2012 - Community Center Fields

Converted lower BB field to Soccer field and added extra sprinkler heads to address new area. Ashland Youth Soccer (AYS) took over maintenance of the Community Center fields this year. Thanks to Madrona Bros Landscaping for doing an outstanding job.

What's Next

Field Resting and Renovation

Now that we have CPA funding for the Middle School and Mindess fields, we can begin work once we insure organizations are off fields at the Back of Mindess and Middle School's grass fields. Work will begin as soon as May 2013 and be completed by the end of 2013. Both fields will be online for the Spring 2014 season.

Warren School - Side Field

Renovation is needed at this smaller field including aeration and proper fertilizing. We will schedule with the school and Youth Soccer to get this field back where it needs to be. We hope to look at this for 2014.

Field Renters & Advertisers

We are always looking for organizations to rent and advertise on our fields. we now can accept advertising at all of our town or school fields.
